Tasting Notes
The concept for Gamekeeper’s arose after the creation of the Poacher’s Blend Semillon Sauvignon as it was known then. The thinking was that you can’t have a Poacher unless there is a Gamekeeper, so the red Gamekeeper’s was born. Turkish delight and ripe red berry fruit pastille notes attributed to the Touriga Nacional is prominent on the nose. A spectrum of spicy pepper, tannins and weight of the Shiraz combined with the generous juicy raspberry flavours of Grenache and a rose petal and floral-like spice of Touriga.
