Tasting Notes
The foundation of the Black NV is crafted by skillfully blending Shiraz from different parcels with varying ages. These parcels are meticulously chosen during the blending process of Old Block and Blackwell Shiraz. As a non-vintage (NV) sparkling, it allows for the harmonious fusion of wines with diverse ages. A touch of wine aged up to 10 years imparts the delightful essence of Black Forest Cake and Cedar, while the younger components contribute notes of spice, dark cherry, and rich dark chocolate. The thoughtful selection and artful blending of the base wine result in a complex, beautifully structured wine with a lingering tapestry of flavours.
