The Planted series is a tribute to the centenarian vines from Barossa and to the growers who have nurtured them. It is because of their experience as world class viticulturalists that these vines produce exceptional quality.
Tasting Notes
NOSE - A bright and lifted bouquet with lovely floral notes, combined with hints of white pepper. Complexity develops further in the glass with dense blackberry and dried herbs.
PALATE - A very elegant and balanced wine. Delightful palate weight, more medium than full bodied, with layers of dark fruits and dark chocolate, with lovely herbal notes of dried bay leaf and a flinty mid palate. The tannins are firm, silky and polished with a long and even finish

Ray Jordan 2025
"An outstanding new release that is part of the Planted Series. It was sourced from an 84-year-old block in the famous parish of Kalimna, benefiting from a late cooler vintage which has suited this elegant and seductive style. Power in abundance, but the bright energy of the nose and palate brings a degree of elegance and refinement. It’s a wine that flows effortlessly to a long finish with its engaging mix of blackberry and plummy fruit merging with a chocolate, spicy dried herb combination. A supreme example of old vine Barossa shiraz"
